Ludong State University (the official full name is Ludong University, abbreviated as LDU) is located in the coastal city of Yantai in the Chinese province of Shandong. The provincial city of Yantai, located right on the coast of the Yellow Sea, has a favorable climate and beautiful scenery. The city is one of the most economically prosperous regions thanks to its international port.
Ludong University “Ludong University” or in Chinese 鲁 学 大学 (LDU) was founded in 1958 and was known as Yantai Teachers College. But since 1984, it was renamed by the Ministry of Education and Sciences of China into Yantai National Normal University. The Comprehensive University has become one of the most significant educational institutions in China, which actively participates in grant programs. Despite the fact that the university accepts students from all over the world, training takes place only in Chinese, so foreign students undergo language training before entering the Bachelor’s course.

All practical and technical core and additional classes are conducted exclusively in Chinese. However, foreign students do not have to worry about insufficient language skills before joining LDU. LDU provides qualified language courses, after which most foreign students acquire knowledge of the Chinese language.
Grants
Ludong University LDU provides international students with statutory grants that can only be used by successful citizens with a high overall score in their subjects. The minimum passing complex score must be at least 90. The Ministry of China grants 100% and 50% discounts on the full tuition fee to successful students.

The multidisciplinary university LDU offers training in 80 Bachelor’s and 60 Master’s specialties. The Ludong educational institution offers students the Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Exact Sciences, Faculty of Arts, and Faculty of Physical Education.

Dorm
LDU State University offers international students accommodation on campus in a cozy hostel. Students can choose from single, double, triple or quadruple rooms. The cost of paid accommodation ranges from 35 to 80 yuan per day per student, depending on the chosen room. Students who have grants are entitled to free room accommodation. If a student wants to live off campus and rent a separate apartment, he must provide the commission with all the necessary documents and lease agreements.
