Chinese University of Geosciences (CUG) is a university, the main building of which is located in the cities of Beijing and Wuhan. The institute is recognized as particularly important at the state level and is under the control of the Ministry of Education of China.

Created on the basis of the Beijing Institute of Geology, the university is closely related to the oil and gas industry in China. - Long-term language program – 8000 yuan / semester, 16000 yuan / year ($ 2540).
- Undergraduate – 18,000 – 22,000 yuan per year ($ 2850 – $ 3490).
- Master’s degree – 25,000 – 35,000 yuan per year ($ 3965-$ 5550).
- Doctorate – 35,000 yuan per year ($ 5550).
Separately, short-term summer research programs and teacher training courses are organized. The cost of these courses is determined upon request.
Grants
The Ministry of Education of China offers several funding options to applicants entering China University of Geosciences. The university collaborates with the Confucius Institute, which issues grants to participants in Chinese language programs. Also, those who wish can apply for a scholarship from the Government of the PRC. For all other categories, there is a special grant “For foreign students”, which is issued directly by the university for excellent academic results.

The payment is made once every six months. Utilities and Internet are paid separately.
