Admission to Yantai University is made on the general basis provided for by the legislation of China. The applicant must provide a Certificate on the basis of 11 classes, translated into Chinese or English, and an international standard passport. Successful students who score high in subjects are automatically enrolled in language preparatory courses.
Full tuition fees at Yantai University:
- language preparatory courses (annual) – from 8,000 to 12,000 yuan;
- language preparatory courses (monthly) – 2,000 yuan;
- Bachelor’s degree – from 11,000 to 18,000 yuan / year;
- Master’s degree – from 16,000 to 25,000 yuan / year;
- registration mandatory fee – 400 yuan one-time;
- medical insurance – from 700 yuan.
Education in all areas is carried out only in Chinese, so foreign students need to take language courses to study or consolidate knowledge. Those foreign students who are fluent in the language and knowledge of Chinese culture can take one-month preparatory courses, thereby shortening the preparatory program before entering the Bachelor’s degree.

Dorm
Yantai University Yantai University provides foreign students with accommodation in a cozy hostel, in the rooms of which there is all the necessary furniture, TV, air conditioning. The student is offered a choice of single and multi-bed rooms for living during their studies. Paid accommodation costs from 35 RMB to 90 RMB per person per night. Those students who study at the YTU University under the grant program are provided with free accommodation in the hostel.
